Welcome to the website…

The original ‘Old Country Blood’ page on Facebook began as I could see how many great breeds were being ruined by Kennel Clubs and unrealistic breed standards. I wanted to promote healthy and functional working, hunting and rustic dog breeds.

At the beginning of 2019 I created the Instagram page and YouTube channel. In April 2019, I changed the page’s name to ‘Jackal’s Old Country Blood’ adding my childhood nickname to distinguish it from other copy cat pages. 

In July 2019, this website was created in an attempt to bring together all of the social media pages, share a variety of canine articles/information and my blog.
