Welcome to the website…

I started the original ‘Old Country Blood’ dog page on Facebook as I could see how many great breeds were being ruined by Kennel Clubs and unrealistic breed standards. I wanted to promote healthy and functional working, hunting and rustic dog breeds.

At the beginning of 2019 I created the Instagram page and YouTube channel. In April 2019, I changed the page’s name to ‘Jackal’s Old Country Blood’ adding my childhood nickname to distinguish it from other copy cat pages. 

In July 2019, I created this website in an attempt to bring together all of the social media pages, share a variety of canine articles/information and my blog.

I hope that everyone enjoys the site and continues to come back on a regular basis, as I will be adding new content on regular basis.
