The Great Dane was the hunting mastiff of Central Europe used to catch bears, boars and deer. The breed is believed to descend from crosses between Mastiffs and large light running dogs that were made in England and then imported into Germany. These crosses came in a variety of sizes and types but they excelled in big game hunting. MORE INFO COMING SOON!!!
