The Pardog was created by Mr Luigi Langella in Italy and Mr Frank V. Manhaut in Australia. Both men had a long interest in various working dog breeds and Mr Manhaut was also a sheep breeder. Due to Mr Manhaut regular losing sheep to Dingos, Australia’s wild dog, the idea of creating a dog capable of dealing with the Dingo and able to be used for protection and guard duties began. This new breeding program began in 1985 and the breeds chosen as the foundation dogs were; Neapolitan Mastiff, German Shepherd, Dogo Argentino, Australian Dingo, English Bull Terrier and Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It’s estimated that the breed is made up of approximately 20% Australian Dingo, 18% Dogo Argentino, 17% Neapolitan Mastiff, 16% English Bull Terrier, 15% German Shepherd and 14% Staffordshire Bull Terrier. – MORE INFO COMING SOON
