Ms. Lana Lou Lane’s Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog

The following information was taken from Ms. Lana Lou Lane’s website 2 years prior to her death in 2001. This write up is very rare and has only ever been seen by folks that saw Lana’s website before she passed away. Her website was discontinued and removed from the archives in 2002. This is how she described the breed she created:

The Alapaha, although bred for a temperament that was courageous, loyal and naturally defensive, was also known to be an all round utility dog, meaning it was intelligent and formidable enough to hold and kill beast, protect the property whilst remaining docile in the home and with close family and friends.

“PURPOSE- Guardian, protector and family companion.”

Words of Ms. Lana Lou Lane

1) Protective and possessive of family
2) Athletic, agile, intelligent and easily trained.
3) Affectionate compatibility.
4) Bred for conformation, temperament, size

The Originator of the registered true Alapaha Blueblood.

If you’re looking for a dog capable of demonstrating loyal dedication, and willing to protect at an early age as young as 8 weeks, then let me introduce you to the “Alapaha”. The puppies are extremely intelligent. In 3 to 5 days in your household, they adopt their new family. You don’t adopt an “Alapaha”, they adopt you. See the “about us” page for more info.

The ABBB is the bulldog from South Georgia Alapaha River region. When you need a protector who is home when you’re not. The ABBB do not stray far nor do they look for a fight, but they will definitely defend their family or themselves. The ABBB is excellent with all children.
